JATC of Western PA - a new lab for a growing training program!
At the IBEW Local 5 JATC, technology is a key factor in training

 One of the things you will first notice about Bob Gieder, Director of the JATC of Western Pennsylvania (IBEW Local 5, Pittsburgh) is that he approaches his position as a professional, and he expects the same from his students. "We train electricians, and we make sure they understand this is not some kind of camp or place to have fun - - it's a training program that turns them into highly skilled, professional electricians," Bob explained to us recently.
Union Built PC is proud to once again supply a new training lab for Bob's program, allowing Apprentices and Journeymen to continue to enhance their skills through computer-based learning as well as hands-on electrical trade skills.
When asked about the new lab, Bob responded, "Our computer lab is used on a daily basis, and we're very happy to be using a company that assembles its PCs in the United States with union labor. Union Built PC has provided technology solutions for us since 2002, and we're glad to see the company grow and become Platinum Training Partners with the NTI this year."
